These terms cover your use of the Moments of Being app and website, run by Violeta Perea Rubio in the United Kingdom. By creating an account you agree to them. If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple’s standard licence terms also apply.

Your account

You need to be 13 or over. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you’re responsible for what happens on your account. You can delete it at any time in the app.

Your content

Your notes, reflections, quotes and posts stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you. Please only photograph pages for your own personal use, and don’t use the app to copy or share whole works.

AI features

Plans and quote reading can use Claude, an AI made by Anthropic, if you allow it. AI can get things wrong: check quotes against the page, and treat book suggestions as suggestions. Daily limits apply to keep the service fair.

Fair use

Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, no automated access, and nothing unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

The service

Moments of Being is free while we’re getting started. We’ll keep improving it, which means features may change. If we ever introduce paid plans, we’ll explain the price and terms before you pay anything.

We provide the app with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under UK law, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we aren’t liable for losses that weren’t foreseeable, or for business losses.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the app first. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions: hello@example.com.
